In the process of earning my Ph.D. in Applied Physics, followed by a Master of Arts in Teaching, I cultivated the following key teaching characteristics. I solidifed my passion to use education as a way to help Equalize Opportunities. The Content Knowledge​​ that I developed during my studies and research was enhanced by studying how best to help other students discover and understand physics content for themselves. I honed the skills of Planning and Implementation​​ to practice and reflect upon a variety of teaching models to best educate students in today's Diverse Classrooms. To keep students engaged and help prepare them for the modern world, I have fun integrating Technology​​ into every lesson, ensuring that technology and all lesson components are beneficial by applying constant and varied forms of Assessment. Finally, I strive to consistently increase Collaboration with students, colleagues, and community members, while engaging in active Professional Development​​ to continually learn and improve as a teacher.
